Here’s what matters most:

With renovations — especially in older homes — there can be hidden surprises once walls are opened. A contingency allowance is essential.

2. Align design with budget early
Have honest cost discussions before finalising plans. Designing without cost clarity often leads to costly redesigns.

3. Understand council & permits
Extensions and structural changes may require planning approval or building permits, and timelines should be factored in early.

4. Choose the right builder
Renovations require experience, problem-solving and strong site management - not just construction skills.

Who will be my point of contact during construction?

You’ll deal directly with Adam, our Director and Registered Builder, along with a dedicated Site Supervisor managing your project on site.

We keep our builds limited so you’ll always know who you’re speaking to — with clear communication and hands-on involvement from start to finish.

Can you build on complicated sites?

Yes — and this is where experience really matters.

Sloping blocks, narrow sites, tight access or challenging overlays don’t scare us. They just require the right planning and approach.
